Jackrabbit Parole RPG

Jackrabbit Parole is an entry for Game Chef 2023. The goal of this game jam was to create a playable tabletop RPG in a couple of weeks, with the theme of Secrets. 

Additionally, we had to include at least two of the following four ingredients: Moonlight, wicked, drawn, artifice

After kicking it around in  my head for awhile, I decided to create a game centered around a prison break. Prisons are known for wicked people, doing wicked deeds. It includes a drawing mechanic (symbols drawn on index cards) and a hidden role: one player is actively working against your success. You must use cunning and artifice to keep your full escape plan from falling into the hands of The Snitch.

(I also included a prison setting on the moon, for a cheeky nod at moonlight).

PLEASE NOTE: This game has not been playtested. My own group is dissolved as of COVID-19, and I have no one to play this with. If your group tries it and can provide constructive, actionable feedback, I would be thrilled to include you in the credits.
